Description

The Coniston is a higher derby boot with a straight toe cap from Crockett & Jones, made in England. It is made from robust, dark brown suede with a rough surface and is equipped with Dainite rubber soles and a storm cap seam for additional water protection. This boot is from the main men's collection. Rough suede is a material that roughens with wear. Over time, it takes on a rustic, worn look, making it our most casual material in the collection. If left untreated, it becomes lighter in colour and the rough look and feel intensifies. However, rough suede benefits greatly from an annual Dubbin treatment to maintain its water protection. A Dubbin treatment also darkens the leather and reduces its rough appearance, giving it something "new" again. The Coniston boot in width E from Crockett & Jones perfectly combines style, robustness and functionality.
