All orders from outside the European Union will be deducted by 19% VAT in the final payment step. Import fees have to be paid by the customer!
As per international laws regulating commerce and trade of imports and exports, all SCARPAROSSA.COM orders are shipped out of Germany with an official invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in Euro.
It is illegal to declare lower values or the items as gifts as per international import regulations.
Import Fees
SCARPAROSSA.COM shipments outside of the European Union are exempt from Value Added Tax but are subject to import fees. Payment of these import fees is the sole responsibility of the client.
Shipment Date
Orders are shipped from SCARPAROSSA.COM in Germany — Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (CET). Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday morning.
Available Merchandise: Immediate Shipping
Orders with available merchandise are shipped the next day after order placement from Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Orders placed on weekends are shipped on the following Monday). In all cases, SCARPAROSSA.COM reserves the right to delay a shipment if the order cannot be shipped for reasons beyond control. Please note that during promotions and sales, there may be delays in immediate shipping.
Shipment Tracking
When the order is shipped, clients receive an email from SCARPAROSSA.COM with the tracking number and a direct link to www.dhl.de/en.html or www.ups.com to monitor the shipment status.
In the event of delays in customs, clients will be notified directly by DHL, UPS and/or SCARPAROSSA.COM.
Shipping Insurance
SCARPAROSSA.COM shipments are insured against theft and accidental damage at no additional cost to the client. Once the shipment reaches its destination, the goods are no longer insured.
Authorized Shipment Delivery
Clients are asked to inspect the box carefully before signing for the delivery. If for any reason the box looks tampered with, either sign for the package with reservations or refuse the package. In the event that the box has been signed for with an unauthorized signature or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, open a claim immediately with the local DHL Office and contact SCARPAROSSA.COM at mail@scarparossa.com.
Unsuccessful Shipment Delivery
If the package is not successfully delivered to the client’s address due to a lack of cooperation from the client (wrong telephone number, wrong address, absent at address, non-compliance with import regulations) as per the SCARPAROSSA.COM commercial agreement, the package may be sent back to Germany at the client’s expense, including any import fees that may be assessed upon re-entry to Germany. These fees will be deducted from any eventual reimbursement.
Returns
Our freight costs via DHL Express or UPS as well as our goods offered for export are very favorably priced (no additional price increases for non-EU citizens).
Therefore, SCARPAROSSA.COM cannot take over costs for returns. The customer has to bear the costs of any returns. The return shipment should be received by us within 4 weeks. You can return the goods with a carrier of your choice. After we have received your return, you will receive the refund within 3–7 business days.
